What a cool, unique little gem of a restaurant. I love meats and prefer a low carb diet. So this place was perfect for dining out. Definitely fit in with my dietary needs! Not to mention the food is very delicious! I'll for sure visit again the next time I'm in town. Now I've gotta try it all. I had the sausage & kraut. Big thumbs up! The atmosphere is awesome as well. You cannot miss this place when driving by. Like a month to a flame! It's a must try! It's not your typical restaurant style. It's kind of Subway style dining with with a way more restaurant feel. We went on a very busy Friday night with a long line but it was worth the wait! Prices vary but the specials are a really good deal.

Great old Sacramento eatery with satisfying, old fashioned, meals. During Covid, the menu is reduced, but pull up a hay bale in the shade, with your roast beef or pastrami, and enjoy a little bit of early Oktoberfest ambiance in their outdoor eating space. UPDATE - They just keep improving and are really making this work, with drive through service, more sheltered outdoor seating, and reliability hearty and delicious food, if a somewhat streamlined menu. I've become a regular!

I have no words for what an amazing visit we had!! First off, the staff was so warm and genuinely friendly. They really made our night by just being so welcoming, and were so helpful with any questions we had. Secondly, the food was DELICIOUS! Our picky eater year old CLEARED his plate! He was so into watching the carving station, and he really appreciated being asked if he'd like white/dark/half of each on his turkey. My husband got the French dip, and ended up drinking his au jus after he fished. We were so impressed! And let's talk about how clean everything was in there!! They're on top of everything, and we can't wait to come back again. THANK YOU STAFF FOR A GREAT DINING EXPERIENCE!Dietary restrictions: SO MANY dairy free options!! My daughter is allergic to dairy, and she could even have the mashed potatoes and gravy! Kid-friendliness: My son absolutely loved it, and our daughter (baby) slept through our entire meal. The staff were so sweet with our son!

I always like to get the corned beef or pastrami with the sage stuffing!!UpdateThe food went hill. My wife got the dip. the meat was cut an inch thick, and was very tough to eat. My pastrami sandwich came with a lot of gristle that I actually ate some of cuz I was hungry.
